About Me

I am a creative, friendly, enthusiastic person, interested in all areas of the film making industry. I have recently completed a degree in Model Design and Special Effects, specialising in Character Creation and Technical Effects at the University of Hertfordshire.  I have gained a wide range of skills and hands on experience through personal projects and work experience. I am not afraid of hard work and I understand the importance of meeting deadlines and finishing things to a high standard.  I am able to adapt quickly to new situations and I am comfortable working on my own or as part of a team.  I believe my broad skill set allows me to be flexible and I am always looking to learn new skills and techniques (I like a challenge!). Personal interests include films, music, cooking, travelling and photography. 
Skills:
  • Sculpting - using mediums like clay, plasticine.
  • Mould making - in plaster, fibre-glass and silicone.
  • Casting (including models and life casting) - in fibreglass, silicone, plaster and fast cast.
  • Painting skills including spraying, weathering and polishing, to produce a quality finish.
  • Make Up Effects - Prosthetics
  • Varied knowledge of using hand tools and workshop machinery.
  • Basic sewing skills, by hand and by machine.
  • Good IT skills including use of Microsoft Word, Edexcel, PowerPoint and Publisher. 
  • Confident using Photoshop and other editing software.
Education:
  • BA (Hons) Character Cration and Technical Effects
  • A levels obtained in Art, Business Studies, Design Technology and Photograpy..
  • 8 GCSE's grade A-C
  • I have studied both French and Spanish.
I have my own car and I hold a full, clean UK driving license. I live within close proximity to the M25 and other major motorways, and can access London easily by train. I am prepared to travel for work.
